  Brought my family of five in for breakfast, because they had never been to a Shoney's.
  We were seated, and given drinks. Never saw the waitress again. No refills, and no check. I was informed that my waitress was Peyton, at the cash register. My bill couldn't be figured by the staff at the register, so management was called and no discount was offered, no kiss my ass, no I'm sorry, Just, we think Peyton was your waitress, give us your money, and go away. If I could give a minus rating , I would. I can't .........so I will take my family, and my money somewhere else from now on.

  We just passed through Kimball on our way home from FL. We stayed at the Best Western - which was also excellent - next door to the Shoney's, and were tired and weary. We called in an order which was ready very quickly. When I went to pick it up and as I began to grab the extras that one always needs, a couple of the folks there quickly took over: finding me extra containers for various condiments, suggesting others items for free from salad bar and packing them - just making my visit so much easier. It's always iffy taking carryout food but our entrees were very good. Should we pass that way again en route I guarantee we will stay in the same place and patronize the Shoney's. Thank you, guys, for making our trip a little bit better!
